Kao-Tai Tsai obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics from University of California, San Diego and had worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories, the US FDA, and pharmaceutical companies focusing on drug discovery. He is active in statistical professional communities and had engaged in numerous invited lectures and short courses. He had served as President of the NJ chapter of the ASA, member of the Board of Directors of International Chinese Statistical Association. His research focuses on theory and applications of machine learning methodologies in clinical, genomic, and industrial research for knowledge discovery.<\/p>
