The Latin American Conference on Statistical Computing (LACSC) is the main academic activity of the IASC, and a notable meeting place for researchers in this field, not only from Latin America but also from around the world.
- This year, the IX Latin American Conference on Statistical Computing (LACSC) will be hosted in Valparaíso, Chile.
- The theme “The Frontiers of Statistical Computing and Data Science in the Artificial Intelligence Era”. The focus is on the evolving role of statistical computing as a foundational pillar in developing, validating, and enhancing AI systems, with applications ranging from healthcare and finance to climate science and autonomous systems.
